Auckland man convicted over Thailand child sex tours

The 46-year-old has name suppression because of another pending court case.

He was found not guilty of lesser charge of promoting sex tours through a website.

Justice Edwin Wylie denied him bail, saying he's likely to receive a long custodial sentence.

The Crown has asked for two to three years as a starting point.

He'll be sentenced February 14.
