Auckland pimp Wiparera Paraire jailed for exploiting 14yo in sex trafficking case

An aspiring pimp who attempted to create an underage sex trafficking ring with the help of a 14-year-old victim has been sentenced to prison. But the havoc and trauma that Wiparera Paraire, 27, caused for the girl and her family is likely to last far beyond his time in custody, prosecutors said today.

Paraire faced up to 14 years’ imprisonment for one count each of dealing in a person under 18 for sexual exploitation, agreeing to deal with a person under 18 for sexual exploitation and making an objectionable publication.
