About This Training Event

We provide in-house training to governmental and non-governmental organisations, frontline professionals, and the general public on issues relating to the commercial sexual exploitation of children. We have years of experience in delivering workshops that are sector-relevant and facilitated by expert staff.

Our usual topics include:

  • what commercial sexual exploitation of children looks like in Aotearoa
  • types of exploitation such as survival sex, grooming, online exploitation, and trafficking
  • risk factors and what to look for
  • barriers to disclosure and identification
  • how sexual exploitation affects tamariki and rangatahi
  • trauma informed practice
  • the current legislative framework.
