About This Training Event

This is a public training suited to anyone working with tamariki or rangatahi.

Join ECPAT NZ for a 1.5-hour training that covers:

  • what in-person and digital sexual exploitation of children looks like in Aotearoa
  • key concepts and definitions
  • risk factors and what to look for
  • barriers to disclosure and identification
  • how sexual exploitation affects tamariki and rangatahi
  • trauma informed practice
  • the current legislative framework.

You will leave with an increased understanding of the realities and impacts of child sexual exploitation in Aotearoa, plus the confidence to recognise and respond safely to this issue.

As part of this training, you receive free access to our online self-led foundational course. Please follow the link in your registration confirmation email to complete this course before the live workshop.
