About This Training Event
This is a public training suited to anyone working with tamariki or rangatahi.
Join ECPAT NZ for a 1-hour training that’s designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to tackle the online sexual exploitation of young people in Aotearoa. We’ll cover:
- key definitions and concepts
- barriers to disclosure
- impacts on victim-survivors
- the changing landscape of sexual exploitation
- systems, safeguards and practical steps to building a safer online world.
You will leave with an increased understanding of the realities and impacts of child sexual exploitation in Aotearoa, plus the confidence to recognise and respond safely to this issue.
