  • Training
  • Topic: in-person CSE

About This Training Event

In today’s digital age, the proliferation of deep fakes and AI-generated content poses a significant threat to our taiohi. Join ECPAT NZ to equip yourself with essential knowledge and practical strategies to combat this threat.

We’ll cover:

  • key concepts and definitions for deep fakes and AI-generated content
  • identifying deep fakes and their harm
  • understanding online sexual exploitation (e.g. sexual extortion, online trading of child sexual abuse imagery)
  • digital literacy
  • responding to disclosures and creating safe spaces
  • the current legislative framework and what you can do.

You will leave with an increased understanding of the technology and its implications for child sexual exploitation in Aotearoa. This course will empower you to respond confidently and create safe, inclusive teaching spaces.

As part of this training, you receive free access to our online self-led foundational course on navigating deep fakes and AI safety. Please follow the link in your registration confirmation email to complete this course before the live workshop.

Ngā mihi nui.
