Walk up the driveway to the left of the tennis courts, then turn right and our premises will be directly in front of you.

19 View Rd is the white building you can see directly behind the tennis courts.

Our space

Shared Space

The space is actively used by hot-deskers, including ECPAT NZ staff. There is a partition wall that can be used when an event is taking place simultaneously – please note that this also blocks off access to the kitchen and bathrooms. If you require more privacy, let us know and we will be happy to find a solution which ensures minimal disruption of your booking.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

The main space is completely accessible to those with mobility aids, barring a small rise at the front entrance.

We welcome diversity in this safe community space, and have gender neutral bathrooms.

Zero Waste Ethos

We seek to empower individuals and groups to be sustainable when using our space.

We ask that you use our whiteware and dish-washing facilities rather than bringing in single-use items.

Please sort your rubbish and recycling responsibly (remember, recyclable items that are not clean, cannot be recycled and will contaminate our bins).

Any food scraps can be composted onsite.

Parking

Regretfully, apart from one mobility park, there is no parking available at the venue. Please note that the space is located down the driveway which is to the left of the tennis courts.

There is an outside bench as well as a mesh fence to which bikes could be locked.

We highly recommend arriving via public transport if possible, or scoping out parking options before your arrival.

Event Venue Booking Conditions

  1. Please do not smoke or vape in the Centre.
  2. We will not host hate groups or gambling events.
  3. We ask that you are considerate of our neighbours when playing music, and keep it down after 9 pm.
  4. We reserve the right to cancel a regular booking in exceptional circumstances should the space be needed for ECPAT NZ use. A full refund will be provided and notice will be given.
  5. The hours you have booked for are inclusive of any event set up and pack down. You must ensure that the booking time includes sufficient time to prep for your event and tidy up after yourselves.
  6. It is the event organiser’s responsibility to ensure the respectful use of equipment, furniture and space. You agree to indemnify ECPAT NZ against any damage to the space or its facilities.
  7. The space must be left clean and tidy, and you must lock up securely before you leave.
  8. If you wish to make any changes to the booking, it is your responsibility to get in touch with us as soon as you can. Changes must be made prior to the booking, and we cannot guarantee that they will be accommodated.
  9. Any booking cancellation must be communicated to ECPAT NZ 48 hours prior to the booking, otherwise, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
  10. You are not permitted to sell liquor without a valid licence. It is the event organiser’s responsibility to ensure that alcohol laws are being followed at the event.
